Installed LAN networks at toll plazas on Ohio Turnpike did interconnects for upgrade to EZPASS.                             Installed Racks in Telco rooms with new servers, controllers, switches and hubs to support connectivity between toll plazas and service plazas and the control facility. I also installed video equipment, Laser equipment, transceiver antennas. Made CAT 5e and Fiber optic cables and performed cable management in Telco rooms. I replaced old mechanical equipment with new electronic equipment for system upgrade.

I performed installation of Ericsson UMTS cabinets. 1^st and 2^nd Carrier adds 850 MHz and 1900 MHz modules for AT&T expansion. Ran and tested new T-1’s, Installed Andrews super flex and Eupen jumpers and connectors. I assisted in commissioning and integration and trouble shooting of Ericsson 2106, 2206 and 3106, 3206 dual banded equipment.

New site builds for AT&T Part of team installing Nokia Ultra site BTS's, Emerson DC/power supplies, Powerwave MCPA’s, Ericsson UMTS 1900 MHz 3206,3106, ran T-1’s and jumpers for sites. Installed diplexers, GPS, LMU’s, power distribution panels, ran all power cables, AC and DC, all data cables, FIFO 19 “Racks, all grounding, battery backup systems. These were completely empty shelters we did complete installations of GSM sites and UMTS equipment. I performed trouble shooting on equipment after installs and commissioning and integrations. (Orlando)- (Mycom) June to September 2008.

 

· MCPA add’s and dual banding for Nokia Ultra sites. De-install old backup power supplies.                                                          Replaced with new Purcell power supplies for battery back systems.

 

· Nokia Flexi (FCOA) installs of UMTS Cabinets, modules, Batteries and termination of DC power. (Miami)-(Mycom) Sept 2007 to Sept 2008

 

· Performing installation and commissioning of Nokia Ultra Site/EDGE BTS and Lorain/Emerson and various other vendor DC power systems.  Providing AC/DC power cabling, Battery bank installations and T-1 and RF cable installation. (Baton Rouge)- (Mycom) – AT&T.

 

· Swap out of old DC power supplies, (indoor and outdoor), Replace with Purcell 4 hour capacity. (Houston/ Galveston)-(Mycom)-T-Mobile.

I conducted T-1 grooming from the Lucent to the Nokia cabinets involving circuit planning and hardwiring of the new equipment. I was responsible for interfacing with the RNOC to ensure proper operation of the site.  I was responsible for installation and integration of Nokia Ultra Site/Edge BTS equipment.
